Helping hands: supporting local Women’s Aid

Salome designs supports women across the world through our handcrafted jewellery sales with 10% of the sales going to non-profit organisations.

This season, Salome teamed up with the lovely girl-boss team at Newcastle Women’s Aid. Starting local, we aim to create a stronger womanhood globally - as a part of our helping hands initiative, Salome helped to make Christmas for women and children in Newcastle Women’s Aid community merry & creative.

Launching newly revised services in 2017, the young organization has already achieved and helped a number of families in Newcastle. Newcastle Women’s Aid offers domestic abuse services to those in need through variety of areas: telephone advice, one to one meetings, group programmes as well as education and awareness-raising initiatives. More importantly, the organization provides women, girls, and children affected by domestic abuse with a sense of community and breaks the stigma around the issue through meaningful and selfless work.
